Southern Alberta Campout

Join us for our annual Southern AB private group camp near the confluence of the Oldman and Livingstone rivers (approx. 2.5 hrs south of Calgary, or 1 hr north of Crowsnest Pass). This is a beautiful location with many fishing opportunities. Note that the camp is remote with no power or potable water, and no services near by - outhouses/pit toilets are on site but no shower facilities. Whether you're looking to fish, enjoy nature, or simply unwind by the river, this camp is the perfect escape. Registration deadline is 11pm Aug 12.

Event Details:

• Dates: Thursday, August 13th to Sunday, August 16th, 2026
• Location: Oldman River area (exact location and check-in details will be provided to registrants)
• Accommodation: Bring your trailer, RV, tent, or sleep in your vehicle. Note that there are no single-day options, but you can join for one, two, or all three nights - fee is the same.
• Pricing:
  • Trailers, RVs, and Tents: $50 for the whole weekend
  • Vehicle camping: $40 for the whole weekend
• Cancellation Policy: Cancellations are allowed up until the event, but please be aware that a cancellation fee ($5) will apply.
• Fire Wood: Bring a bundle of fire wood and you are entered into a draw to win one of two $50 gift cards for a fly shop of your choice. (No firewood available at site)

Things to Keep in Mind:

• This camp has no power, there are no stores nearby, and you'll need to bring your own drinking water.
• It's best to bring some extra gas if you're coming with a trailer.
• Cell service requires some travel beyond the campsite, so disconnect and immerse yourself in nature!
• No group meals will be provided, but you’re welcome to coordinate with other members to cook and share meals.
• We’ll be gathering around the campfire in the evenings for icebreaker games, storytelling, and sharing the day’s experiences. It’s a great time to relax, make new friends, and swap fishing stories.
