Post-Event Recap: Fish Keychains with Kaith and Charissa!

Post-Event Recap: Fish Keychains with Kaith and Charissa!

We had so much fun at our recent Fish Keychain Craft Night! It was so great to see a strong turnout of members coming together to connect, unwind, and try something a little different during this unpredictable spring weather. It was also great to put some new life in old flyline - as the whole group used recylced fly lines for their creations.

We ended up with all different types of species from rainbows to steelheads, and even an accidental carp. A huge thank you to Charrisa and Kaith, who made this event possible! Charissa spent many hours in the morning figuring out the best pattern to make these keychains possible and also being so patient and inclusive wihile helping the group (as many of us ran into a few hiccups with our desgins - especially with those pesky dorsal fins). An additional thank you to Kaith and Out Fly Fishing for graciously letting us host this event in your space.

More than anything, events like this highlight what makes our community so special. It’s not just about fishing—it’s about building connections, supporting each other, and creating space for everyone to feel welcome. It was great that we had a few new members come out for their very first event! We hope to see you all soon!

Thank you to everyone who joined us and helped make the night such a success—we’re already looking forward to the next one!
