CWFF Volunteer Appreciation BBQ

It’s that time of year again—our CWFF Summer BBQ is back and we can't wait to kick off the season with you!

This year is extra special. As a heartfelt thank-you to our amazing volunteers and the incredible support we’ve received from our community, we’re excited to offer this event completely FREE.

Join us for an evening of great food, icebreaker games, and awesome company in beautiful Fish Creek Park. Whether you're a returning member or brand new to CWFF, this is a great chance to connect before our summer campouts begin.

This event is open to both members and non-members—so if you've been curious about CWFF and want to see what we’re all about, this is the perfect low-key way to get to know us.

We’ve reserved a lovely spot with a picnic shelter and nearby washrooms. The evening will feature fun icebreaker games to help everyone connect, mingle, and share a few laughs.

Dinner Details:
You’ll get your choice of a burger or a smokie, with gluten-free and vegan options available. We’ll be using a separate BBQ for gluten items, though we can't guarantee no gluten contact for those with celiac sensitivity.

You’ll also receive your choice of a beverage with dinner. Potato salad and chips will be provided as sides.

Please RSVP by Sunday, June 7 so we can ensure there's enough food and drinks for everyone.

What to Bring:
• Camp chair
• Blanket or jacket (it can get chilly!)
• Bug spray
• Propane fire pit (if you have one)
• Your best fishing stories and a sense of fun!

We’re excited to reconnect with familiar faces and welcome some new ones. Come for the food, stay for the fun, and leave with some new friends (and maybe a future fishing buddy or two)!
